Post 1: Team Jak Children, Young People & Families Co-ordinator, Aberdeen Hours: 16 hours per week - 6 month fixed term contract with a view to extension depending on the needs of the charity
Post 2: Team Jak Children, Young People & Families Co-ordinator, Glenrothes Hours: 10 hours per week - 6 month fixed term contract with a view to extension depending on the needs of the charity
Summary of Job To participate in the co-ordination, provision and evaluation of a service that ensures children and young people, families and professionals can access high quality emotional, social and practical support in situations where a young person or child has been diagnosed with cancer or related illness or is in remission and needs support, or sadly has died; and assessing and responding to the needs of parents/carers and grandparents. To co-ordinate and facilitate a Fundraising Group within Aberdeen/Glenrothes to raise awareness and money.
